Our First Lady, Minister Lucinda Connor, is the life partner in ministry with our pastor and her husband, Rev. Dr. James Connor, Jr.

Affectionately called, “Sis. Malu,” she not only is a God-fearing woman, faithful wife, and loving mother.  She received her Diploma in fashions and tailoring from the Stafford Institute.  As a professional fashion designer by career, she has worked with the Simmons bedding company for ten years and resigned in 2010 to establish her own business. Sis Lucinda is a  Co-owner of Angel's Touch Fashion, a Charlotte-based Fashion Design and Tailoring business located at 2923 Gibbon Road, Charlotte, North Carolina. She regularly counsels and assists clients with their personal issues that arise on a daily basis. 

Sis. Lucinda is a graduate of Biblical Studies from the Institute of Biblical Studies, a two-year diploma program at Liberty University in Lynchburg, Virginia.  Sis. Connor also serves as the Minister for Missions and Growth with the Breakthrough Ministries., Inclusion and exclusive and she is responsible for spearheading diversity & inclusion efforts for the church's mission programs and activities across Africa and worldwide.

Sis. Lucinda Connor is very active in the Charlotte community and is a member of a variety of community-related organizations. She is a frequent speaker, and presenter on a variety of religious diversity and/or ministry-related topics, and she is most actively involved in the Church’s women’s, music, and youth-focused ministries. “Lady Connor” considers herself blessed, but her proudest roles are that of wife to Pastor Connor and mother to their four biological children: Sincere, Blessing, Humble, and Favor.
