Pastor Connor is the Founder and Senior Pastor of the Breakthrough Center.  Pastor Connor’s shepherd’s heart is evident in the tender and compassionate way he leads the growing congregation at Breakthrough Center. He is loved and well-respected for his strong leadership and fiery passion for God.

 

Following a successful career in Professional Counseling, Pastor Connor  James worked previously as a manager, banker, teacher, and counselor and has served in the pastoral field for 32 years.   He is a Board Certified Christian Counselor and a member of the Licensed Professional Counselors of North Carolina; the American Association of Christian Counselors, and the Society of Christian Psychologists in America.  

 

Pastor Connor is also the Founder and Executive Director of Concern Mission International Incorporated, since its inception in November 1991. Under his leadership, Concern has expanded its Christian humanitarian activities and programs in Africa, America, and most parts of the world-building and establishing academic and vocational schools, orphanages, and churches in cities, and rural areas in Africa, and the United States.

He is married to Lucinda and they have four children, Sincere, Blessing, Humble, and Favor. Pastor Connor has a Bachelor in Pastoral Study, Master in Divinity, and his Doctorate’s degree in Ministry.
